We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. We are a contract manufacture who works with Filling line, labelling, blending both in Dangerous goods and liquid handling based in Tullamarine and Sunshine.
We are looking for a Full Time Fitter to work – Monday to Friday during the day with a flexibility on your choice of start time between 6.30am / 9am
Your daily tasks will include the below (but not limited to)
- Responsible for general mechanical maintenance that includes mechanical repair on a day to day basis -
- Maintain Plant equipment.
- Maintain systems that will maximise the efficiency and minimise cost –
- Be part of new site projects.
- Action preventative maintenance program by performing planned maintenance and installation of new plant and equipment to schedule
- Set up and adjust filling machines and mixing equipment
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Relevant Trade Qualification with a minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a maintenance role, knowledge of DG sites (desired by not required).
- Experience in Pneumatics/Hydraulics experience, (Essential)
- Stainless steel TIG & MIG Welding ability.
- Experience with conveyors, processing, packing and filling equipment.
- Forklift license - desirable

Pay: $38.00 – $41.00 per hour

- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

- Fitting and Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
- Fitter: 3 years (Required)
