We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Production Operators who have experience in the dairy processing industry, to join our team at our Dandenong South manufacturing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in food manufacturing, dairy processing, or production environments who enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will support the day-to-day production activities required to meet our manufacturing schedule while maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, completing production documentation, and ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily production and processing activities.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Monitor production processes and report any issues or deviations.
- Complete production records and documentation accurately.
- Print and process work orders as required.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
- Adhere to all food safety, quality, and workplace safety requirements.
- Work closely with team members to achieve daily production targets.
- Report equipment concerns or maintenance requirements to the appropriate team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, food production, or dairy processing environment.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork and record keeping.
- The ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work shift work, overtime and weekends as required.
- Be physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks, including lifting up to 25kg safely.
- Access to own or reliable transport to site.
