Full-Time Panel Beater

VDM Car Care is looking for an experienced and reliable Full-Time Panel Beater to join our team in Bayswater, Victoria.
We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is able to work efficiently and independently in a busy panel shop environment.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for carrying out quality vehicle repairs, including repairing damaged vehicle panels and preparing vehicles for refinishing.
Key Responsibilities
- Repair damaged vehicle panels to a high standard
- The role primarily involves working on small to medium-sized repair jobs, with a focus on delivering high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
- Perform panel beating, straightening and reshaping of vehicle panels
- Remove and refit vehicle components as required
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the appropriate repair process
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Work safely and maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Work collaboratively with other members of the team
- Follow workplace safety procedures and industry standards
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workspace at all times
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater
- Strong attention to detail and pride in their workmanship
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A reliable and positive attitude
- Good time management and the ability to meet deadlines
- A strong work ethic and professional approach
- The ability to start immediately
