SNSW Grade: 9/10 - The package includes base salary ranging from $130,705 - $157,430, plus employer superannuation contributions and annual leave loading

Location : Sydney Haymarket / Parramatta. In office presence required as per DCS directive
About the Team
This role sits within the Service NSW Partnerships Projects & Insights division. Our team partners with government agencies to deliver programs that make it easier for customers and partner agencies to access support and services across NSW. We work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to drive meaningful outcomes and improve service delivery.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex and high-profile programs and projects.
Working across a diverse portfolio, you will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic objectives. You will work closely with partner agencies and engage with senior stakeholders across government to navigate challenges, build consensus, and achieve successful outcomes.
Your Day-to-Day
In this role, you will:
- Lead the delivery of a complex portfolio of projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- Make informed decisions and adapt quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders, including managing challenging issues and complex expectations.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks and dependencies.
- Ensure project activities remain aligned with intended business and community outcomes.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance program and project delivery practices.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Demonstrate
- Proven experience delivering complex projects and programs from planning through to implementation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate across diverse groups.
- The ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration to achieve shared objectives.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical, and outcome-focused advice.
- A proactive, accountable, and solutions-focused approach to work.
