Marsh
We are seeking a talented individual to join our HONAN Compliance team at Marsh . This role will be based in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Compliance Officer will support strata compliance activities, with a focus on authorised representative and distributor oversight, attestations, sanctions check, ASIC responses and client complaints. You will work closely with legal, compliance, risk and business teams to help strengthen controls, improve processes and support migration and quality assurance activities across the portfolio.
We will count on you to:
- Support regular attestation processes, including survey distribution, follow-up and management of adverse responses
- Coordinate the setup of distributors and authorised representatives, including paperwork and onboarding activities
- Assist with data collection for current and upcoming projects, including migration and compliance initiatives
- Support the migration of strata authorised representative and distributor agreements and related system or process changes
- Manage timely responses to ASIC matters and client complaints, escalating issues where appropriate
- Conduct sanctions checks and assist with planned monitoring and quality assurance activities for strata compliance
What you need to have:
- Experience in compliance, risk, auditing or a related control environment
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements, including AML concepts and industry standards
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, communication and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively
What makes you stand out:
- Experience supporting distributor, authorised representative or strata-related compliance processes
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, law or a related field
- Professional certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM)
- Familiarity with process improvement, monitoring frameworks or quality assurance activities
