Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced specialist Medical Administrator to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital
We are looking for a Deputy Director Medical Services! The primary objective of the RPAH Deputy Director Medical Services is to support the Director Medical Services in ensuring safe, effective and patient-centred delivery of medical services at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
The RPAH Deputy Director Medical Services will have specific medical administration duties, including day-to-day management of operational Medical Administration matters, participation in the RPA Executive including on-call, leading and participating in Hospital committees, implementing policies and procedures, safety and quality and medical workforce management.
The RPAH Deputy Director Medical Services will ensure a high standard of professional performance and, where required, the encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators and/or other specialist recognition or substantive progression towards specialist recognition relevant to the role, as provided for in the Staff Specialist or Medical Superintendents (State) Awards.
Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
