Airbnb Cleaner – Freelance/ Contract

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and detail-oriented Airbnb Cleaner to join our team and help maintain our short-term rental property to a consistently high standard.
This role involves cleaning and preparing the property between guests so that every guest arrives to a spotless, fresh and welcoming home.

What You'll Be Doing
- Thoroughly clean and sanitise the entire property between guests
- Vacuum, mop, dust and clean all surfaces
- Clean bathrooms, showers, toilets, mirrors and fixtures
- Clean and reset the kitchen and appliances
- Change bed linen and make beds to a high standard
- Wash, dry and fold linen and towels where required
- Empty bins and replace rubbish bags
- Restock toiletries and guest supplies
- Check that the property is tidy, organised and guest-ready
- Conduct a final inspection before leaving
- Report damage, missing items, maintenance issues or excessive mess
- Report and safely manage items left behind by guests
- Follow our cleaning checklist and property standards
- Communicate promptly with the property manager regarding any issues

Previous professional cleaning experience is preferred, particularly Airbnb, holiday rental, hotel, serviced apartment or residential cleaning experience.
However, we are happy to consider applicants with limited experience who can demonstrate the right attitude, reliability and attention to detail.
Availability
Because the property needs to be prepared between guest bookings, flexibility is important.
You may be required to work:
- Weekdays
- Weekends
- Public holidays
- Same-day or short-notice cleans, where available
Typical cleaning times will depend on guest check-out and check-in times.
Requirements
- Reliable transport to the property
- Current right to work in Australia
- Ability to provide references
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to follow property and cleaning procedures
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines
