Hours: Standard hours are 8:30am – 4:30pm (with flexibility required up to 5:00pm depending on daily dispatch volume)
Hourly rate: $32.31- $33.85PH
About the Role
We are on the lookout for a switched-on, detail-oriented Despatch Clerk the busy team. This is a critical role in the supply chain, ensuring that the right products get to the right customers accurately and on time.
If you understand the basics of warehousing or dispatch, have solid computer skills, and pride yourself on getting the small details right, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Invoicing & Documentation: Accurately invoice pallets and prepare necessary shipping paperwork prior to dispatch.
- Freight Labeling: Ensure all outgoing freight is correctly labeled, verified, and ready for transit.
- Quality Control: Maintain high attention to detail to guarantee that incorrect freight is flagged and only the correct orders are sent out.
- Communication: Utilize email (a small but important part of the role) to communicate internally and externally regarding shipments.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic dispatch issues as they arise (full training will be provided).
What We Are Looking For
- Attention to detail “MUST”. You spot errors before they leave the dock.
- Good overall computer skills, including comfort using email and learning internal inventory/dispatch systems.
- A solid understanding of basic warehouse or dispatch functions.
- A "switched-on" attitude with a willingness to learn how to troubleshoot minor logistical hiccups.
- This role requires reliability.
