SYD VIA MEL PTY LTD is in Hospitality business since 2018 successfully running Don’t Tell Aunty & Don't Tell Uncle (a fine dining restaurant) located at Surry Hills and Cammeray serving authentic Indian Cuisine.
We pride ourselves on the culinary creations served from our kitchen and are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our team.
The ideal candidate for this position must have previous experience preparing Indian cuisine and should enjoy working in a busy restaurant environment and is capable of taking direction well and multi-tasking effectively.

Responsibilities:
1. Seasoning, preparing and cooking all dishes.
2. Portioning and presenting food items as per Syd Via Mel's standard procedures and garnishes.
3. Maintaining food safety and hygiene at all times.
4. Receiving, storing and rotating all stock as per Syd Via Mel's procedures and HACCP standards and taking a systematic prevention approach to food safety by identifying potential hazards.
5. Maintaining Workplace Health and Safety at all times.
What we offer:
Annual Base Salary: AUD$75000-$85000 (38 hr/week)
Plus Super, Allowance, Bonus.

Qualifications:
Cert. III in Commercial Cookery
Minimum 01 year of work experience.
LOCATION:
We are located in Cammeray and Surry Hills. There is a parking, and we are also accessible via bus and train.
