Southside Delivery Driver – Food Service
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and customer-focused delivery driver to join our team.
This is a hands-on position where you will be part of the team from the start of the morning through to completing your deliveries.
The Role
Pay: $38.00 per hour gross
+ superannuation paid on top
Start: 4:00am
Location: Bidfood Warehouse, 59 Pegasus Place, Morningside
Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week
Your morning will start with helping load the Southside delivery truck, working with the warehouse team to load dry, chilled and frozen products and organise customer orders in the correct delivery sequence.
Once the Southside truck is ready, you may also assist the team with loading the North West truck before heading out on your deliveries.
There may also be occasional supplier pickups for products required by our customers.
Deliveries
Our customers include cafes, restaurants, takeaways, childcare centres and schools throughout the Southside and surrounding areas.
Your responsibilities at each delivery include:
Delivering the correct products to the customer
Checking the goods against the invoice before leaving
Ensuring all products have been delivered and checked off
Obtaining the customer’s proof of delivery through our Detrack app
Taking delivery photos when required
Providing friendly and professional customer service
Accuracy is very important to us. We want our drivers to take the time to make sure the customer has received everything they ordered, while also working efficiently.

Every run is different, so being organised and keeping the deliveries moving while maintaining accuracy and good customer service is important.

This is not a job where you simply arrive in the morning, jump into a truck and drive.
Our drivers are an important part of our operation. You will help load, organise, deliver and look after our customers.

Finish times vary depending on the day’s workload and number of deliveries.
Most days you may finish around 12:00pm–2:00pm, with some days finishing earlier.
The workload can vary from day to day, so some flexibility is required.
Pay: $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35.0 per week
Licence/Certification:
- Full Driver Licence (Preferred)
