We're a small, busy neighbourhood cafe known for great food and a warm, welcoming vibe. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate and reliable Chef or Cook to join our kitchen team and help us keep the quality high during our busiest rushes.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and plating breakfast and lunch dishes to a consistently high standard
Working efficiently under pressure during peak service periods
Managing prep, mise en place, and stock rotation to keep the kitchen running smoothly
Maintaining a clean, organised kitchen in line with food safety standards
Collaborating with front-of-house staff to deliver a seamless guest experience
What we're looking for
Experience in a fast-paced cafe or kitchen environment (formal training a bonus, not a must)
A genuine love for good food and attention to quality and presentation
Ability to keep calm and organised during busy service periods
A reliable, team-first attitude and strong communication skills
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
