We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our ANZ team and help deliver exceptional employee experiences that attract, develop, engage and retain great people.
This is a broad and varied role for someone who enjoys balancing HR advisory work with recruitment, employee experience, culture and continuous improvement. You'll be a trusted partner to leaders and employees, providing practical advice, leading recruitment activities, driving people initiatives and helping create a workplace where people can thrive.
If you're someone who enjoys driving proactive recruitment, solving problems, building relationships, improving processes and making a genuine impact on employee experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What will you be doing?
Partner with leaders and employees across Australia and New Zealand to deliver an exceptional employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle.
Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, mapping the talent market and developing innovative attraction strategies to identify and secure talent in competitive markets.
Provide trusted HR advice across employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations and complex employee matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Modern Awards.
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience and support initiatives that improve employee engagement, wellbeing, recognition and retention.
Support managers to build high-performing teams through coaching, performance conversations, development planning and talent initiatives.
Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures and consultations, with sound judgement and care.
Develop and deliver engaging internal communications that promote people programs, business initiatives and organisational culture.
Coordinate and deliver employee experience programs, events and people initiatives that strengthen connection, inclusion and alignment to our values.
Maintain HR systems, employee records and employment documentation, ensuring compliance, accuracy and confidentiality.
Generate workforce reporting and insights to support business decision-making and people strategy.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and ways of working, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
What will you bring to the role?
Demonstrated experience in a HR Advisor, People & Culture Advisor or HR Generalist role, partnering directly with managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
Strong employee relations capability, with confidence managing performance management, workplace investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and complex employee issues.
Proven success delivering end-to-end recruitment outcomes, including sourcing (headhunting and market mapping) and attracting talent in competitive or skills-short markets.
Experience developing and delivering employee experience, engagement, wellbeing, culture or people initiatives that drive participation and business impact.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and coach leaders at all levels.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the confidence to take ownership, challenge constructively and work autonomously.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards and HR best practice. Exposure to New Zealand employment legislation is desirable but not essential.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline, and/or AHRI membership is desirable but not essential.
