The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Senior Finance Analysts to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide high level financial and business advisory support to senior managers
Utilise information management systems and tools to analyse and report data
Identify a service line need for financial and activity-based information and respond to requests for information
Present quality financial, staffing and activity data for the division compared to budgets, targets, benchmarks and key performance indicators
Provide support to the Divisional Finance Manager
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
While not mandatory, a relevant tertiary qualification such as Bachelor of Business, Commerce or Accounting would be highly desirable
While not mandatory, experience in a health care setting in a business / operational environment would also be well regarded
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent full time (two positions)
Base salary ranging from $125,607 - $134,548 per annum

Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service has finance teams within the divisions that play a pivotal role in sustaining a high performing and consultative Financial Performance Team. The Financial Performance Team is integrated into the operational business units providing a range of financial functions, including those activities associated with financial management, financial analysis, budget reporting, accrual accounting processes, activity-based funding analysis and general ledger activities.
