Bondi Boulangerie is looking for a passionate and reliable Weekend Baker to join our growing team in Bondi Beach.
This is a part-time position working Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with an excellent opportunity to transition into a full-time role as we continue to grow.
About the Role
You’ll play a key role in our early morning production, ensuring our customers enjoy fresh bread and pastries from the moment we open.
Shift starts at 4:00 AM, so reliability and punctuality are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Early morning baking and oven management
- Bake and finish artisan breads and viennoiserie
- Prepare and proof bread for daily production
- Finish pastries and ensure products meet our quality standards
- Assist with dough preparation and general bakery production
- Maintain a clean, organised and food-safe workspace
- Follow production schedules and recipes accurately
- Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced bakery team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working in a commercial bakery
- Passion for artisan bread and quality baked goods
- Ability to work independently during early morning production
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Reliable, organised and able to work under pressure
- Available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday
