We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and highly motivated Maintenance Carpenter to join our busy multi-trade maintenance services team. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role suited to an experienced tradesperson who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and delivering quality maintenance solutions across multiple sites each day.
You will be responsible for completing high-quality reactive maintenance, repairs, and refurbishment works across government housing properties, hospitals, medical facilities, and commercial buildings. The successful candidate must be confident working across multiple trade areas, adapting to changing priorities, and efficiently resolving a wide range of maintenance requirements.
About the Role:
- Complete reactive maintenance repairs and general building works
- Carry out vacant property maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments
- Perform a broad range of carpentry and multi-trade maintenance tasks
- Work across multiple sites daily while managing changing workloads and priorities
- Diagnose issues, provide practical solutions, and complete works to a high standard
- Deliver professional, reliable service within a fast-paced maintenance environment
- Work independently while maintaining effective communication with the wider team

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in carpentry, property maintenance, and building services
- Strong multi-trade capability with the ability to complete a variety of maintenance tasks
- Experience working in reactive maintenance environments
- Ability to troubleshoot, prioritise tasks, and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- A reliable, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
- Valid driver’s licence
