About the Role:
Located at Elderslie, Baptistcare Glendale Lodge is a welcoming and homely aged care home offering 24-hour, care and support to residents.
As a Cleaner & Laundry Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our Residential Aged Care facility by ensuring all areas are clean, sanitary, and safe for our residents.
We offer a competitive salary based on your previous experience from $27.77 - $31.36/hr + superannuation + penalties + salary packaging.

As a Laundry Assistant / Cleaner, your duties will include:
Cleaning Duties
- Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and staff spaces
- Following cleaning schedules and organisational policies
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, hygiene, and workplace safety
- Completing required documentation and checklists
Laundry Duties
- Collecting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing residents’ clothing and linen
- Operating and maintaining laundry equipment safely
- Ensuring laundry is handled respectfully and in accordance with infection control guidelines
- Supporting the smooth operation of the laundry area to meet residents’ needs
About You:
- Previous experience in cleaning and/or laundry services, including the safe use of chemicals
- Ability to work independently and under limited supervision
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Empathy, flexibility and patience with aged people and their needs
