Details: Harrison School is seeking a dynamic and collaborative SLC to lead Wellbeing and Inclusion in our High School. The successful applicant will work in collaboration with a second High School Wellbeing and Inclusion SLC. The school leader will join a united P-10 executive team who work together to lead the implementation of our school priorities.
The job description below will be managed in collaboration with our existing High School Wellbeing and Inclusion SLC:

Lead and support a positive and collaborative staff culture.

Promote and maintain strong student relationships and family partnerships.

Lead the implementation of PBL to embed consistent systems and processes that promote a positive school culture.

Lead, coach and mentor the Wellbeing and Inclusion teams - Year Coordinators, LSAs, Youth Worker, School Nurse, School Psychologist and Inclusion teachers.

Wellbeing, curriculum, pedagogy, assessment and reporting in our Wellbeing and Inclusion programs.

Administration and compliance processes in our Wellbeing and Inclusion programs.

Liaise with the Directorate, community agencies and staff to develop and implement effective learning and behaviour support plans.

Expertise in collecting and analysing student learning and wellbeing data to effectively support NCCD processes.

Work collaboratively with Year Coordinators to facilitate year level events and excursions.

Undertake an appropriate teaching load and other duties as determined by the Principal.

Eligibility/Other requirements:

A minimum of 4 years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.

Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) or eligibility to obtain TQI.
