Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, customer-focused, and results-driven Retail Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail store. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining efficient store processes, driving sales performance, ensuring effective stock control, and delivering a high standard of service to our customers.
This role requires a strong leader with experience in retail management, inventory control, team supervision, and customer relationship management. Knowledge or experience within flooring, construction supplies, trade products, hardware, tools, or a related industry will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations and ensure efficient business performance
- Lead, train, and support staff to achieve sales and service goals
- Manage stock control, inventory ordering, and supplier coordination
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve revenue
- Maintain product displays, merchandising, and store presentation standards
- Manage customer inquiries, feedback, and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and company procedures
- Prepare sales, inventory, and operational reports for management
- Assist with business planning and store improvement initiatives
