Fleet Coordinator (Intern)
Move My Stuff (movemystuff.com.au) | Perth, WA
About Us
Move My Stuff Australia is a leading logistics and removals company helping families and businesses relocate & deliver furniture for brands across Australia.
About the Role
This is a part-time, hands-on role perfect for someone starting their career in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain.
You'll work from our client's warehouse each morning (7 AM – 11/12 PM, 4–5 hours/day), overseeing quality checks,
inspecting vehicles and loads, and making sure everything's ready for the day's moves. Occasionally, you may visit
job sites to audit completed work or help resolve customer issues — but most of your time will be in the warehouse.
This is an intern position — freshers welcome.
If you've got a Logistics or Supply Chain degree (or doing an internship), we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Start your day at the warehouse (7 AM – 11/12 PM) overseeing quality checks and getting everything ready.
- Inspect packaging, loading, and vehicle conditions to make sure we're meeting our standards.
- Occasionally visit job sites to audit completed moves, check assembly quality, and help fix customer issues.
- Handle quality concerns like incomplete assembly, minor damages, or complaints — you'll verify, fix, and follow up.
- Coach our drivers and delivery teams to improve their work and prevent the same issues happening again.
- Take photos and short videos of before-and-after assembly, packing processes, and happy customers.
- Keep good records of what you find, what you fixed, and what we learned.
- Work with our operations team to spot gaps in our processes and suggest improvements.
What We're Looking For
- You're detail-oriented and care about quality — you notice the small stuff.
- You communicate well and can solve problems on your feet.
- You can spot defects in delivery, packing, or assembly and know how to fix them.
- You're comfortable taking photos and videos (clear, well-lit, good angles).
- You're practical, hands-on, and like getting things done.
- You have a valid driver's licence (own vehicle preferred, but we can provide one if needed)
- You're confident working independently and managing your own time.
Bonus if you have:
- A degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Internship experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations.
- A genuine interest in building a career in this industry.
What We Offer
- Paid part-time internship (4–5 hours/day).
- 1 week paid training in Melbourne (we cover all your travel, accommodation).
- Hands-on experience in fleet coordination, quality assurance, and logistics.
- Mentorship from experienced people who want to see you succeed.
- A supportive team and a company that's growing.
- The chance to build a career in an industry that's always in demand.
