We have a permanent full-time opportunity available for a Clinical Nurse supporting our clients within the Gold Coast region.
Your Role
Our team is seeking an experienced and highly capable Clinical Nurse to provide clinical leadership across our community aged care service.
We are looking for a candidate with advanced nursing skills, strong clinical judgement, demonstrated clinical leadership capabilities and expertise in aged care. The successful applicant will lead by example, fostering a culture of safe, person-centred and high-quality care while supporting the ongoing development and capability of our nursing and care teams.
Reporting into the Clinical & Care Partnering Manager, you will provide clinical leadership, guidance and oversight to Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Care Partners and relevant care staff. You will play an integral role in supporting the management of complex and high-risk clinical matters and ensuring clinical practice aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, organisational policies and evidence-based best-practice guidelines.
You will also contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management activities, promoting positive outcomes and supporting the health, safety, wellbeing, choice and dignity of our clients.

Role Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated advanced nursing experience within aged care and/or community care.
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical leadership, senior nursing or equivalent role.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated experience assessing and managing complex and high-risk clinical presentations.
- Sound knowledge of clinical governance, incident management, risk management and continuous quality improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision, professional guidance, coaching and development to nursing staff.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Experience in community aged care is highly desirable.
- Current Criminal History Check.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills with the ability to confidently use client management and clinical systems.
