About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and hardworking Aged Care Support Workers with a strong work ethic and genuine passion for supporting older Australians.
This role involves providing person-centred care and support to elderly individuals, assisting our clients to achieve greater independence, improve quality of life, and actively engage in their community.
The successful candidate will work closely with clients, families, and support teams to deliver tailored support in accordance with individual care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality support in accordance with individual care plans and organisational policies.
- Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility support.
- Support clients with activities of daily living, including meal preparation, light domestic assistance and maintaining a safe home environment.
- Assist clients with community participation, shopping, appointments, transport and social activities.
- Promote clients' independence, dignity and wellbeing through respectful, person-centred support.
- Observe, document and report changes in clients' health, wellbeing or support needs.
- Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports and other required documentation.
- Support clients to achieve their personal goals and maximise independence.
- Work collaboratively with care coordinators, families, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.
- Comply with workplace health and safety, infection control, privacy and safeguarding requirements at all times.
Skills & Experience
To be considered, you should have:
- Previous experience in aged care, home care, disability support or community services (highly desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, respectful and person-centred approach to supporting older people.
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Sound judgement, reliability and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or related field
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS workers screening check (if applicable)
- Working With Children Check (if required)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current Driver Licence
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
- Manual handling
- Current and up to date vaccination
- Reliable, roadworthy motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- Smartphone for communication and reporting

Pay: $32.31 – $37.38 per hour
