About the position
La Trobe University is seeking a Projects & Communications Support Officer to support the delivery of strategic partnership and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) initiatives across the University.
Working within the Office of the Provost, this role provides high‑quality project coordination, communications and administrative support across multiple time‑bound initiatives, including establishment activities for the Health Professionals Clinical Education Unit (HPCEU).
Reporting to the Director, Partnerships Ecosystem & Operations, you will play a key enabling role in ensuring project activities are well organised, clearly communicated and effectively supported.
- Provide high‑level project and administrative support across concurrent initiatives
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, events and governance activities
- Prepare agendas, minutes, briefs, reports and project documentation
- Develop and maintain clear, accurate communications, including intranet and web content
- Manage shared inboxes and stakeholder enquiries
- Maintain organised records in line with University requirements
You will bring:
- Experience providing project and administrative support in a complex organisation
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Well‑developed written communication skills, including digital content
- Confidence working with Microsoft 365 and content management systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style
A relevant degree and subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, is required.
This position is open to internal candidates by secondment, subject to business approval and in line with University secondment arrangements. Secondments offer an opportunity to contribute to strategic University initiatives while building project and portfolio‑level experience.
