Service, maintain and repair a variety of heavy vehicles, plant and equipment
Diagnose faults and perform repairs to minimise downtime and maximise fleet reliability
Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing activities
Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
Collaborate with the wider workshop team to support operational requirements across the island
You're a reliable and safety-focused mechanic who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering high-quality work and values being part of a collaborative team. You have strong fault-finding skills, a proactive approach to maintenance and problem-solving, and a willingness to learn and work across a diverse range of assets.
A team-oriented mindset, to contribute to a positive workshop culture; and whether your background is primarily in buses, trucks, earthmoving equipment or other specific heavy vehicles background, you're motivated to expand your skills and take on new challenges across our unique fleet.
Australian recognised trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Diesel Fitting or similar
Minimum 4 years' post-trade experience
Experience maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles and mobile plant
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
HR driver's licence and current manual driver's licence (essential)
Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Forklift licence (desirable)
