Your responsibilities will include:
You will drive Sustainment outcomes and resource readiness for current and future programs, while supporting new business growth, achieving schedule, technical and quality targets, and owning financial and operational performance. The Sustainment Capability Director’s primarily responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Directly support the OneLMA Operating Model, delivering mission‑critical outcomes across a breadth of platforms within multiple business areas

Lead process‑improvement initiatives that deliver cost, time and delivery efficiencies

Foster a positive, resilient, LM‑culture that drives talent development, retains top performers and creates an effective workplace

Own the functional capability roadmap that unlocks the AU regional and Indo‑Pacific sustainment strategy and opportunities; alongside Must Sustain initiatives

Partner with programmes, functions, and suppliers to meet customer needs, achieve satisfaction, and grow the line of business
- Achieve schedule, technical and quality performance targets that align with business and program goals

Act as a bridge between US and AU Business Areas, strengthening OneLMA operating model capabilities and cross‑functional synergies

Serve as the AU Business COE lead within Lockheed Martin Corporation
About you:
As a Leader you will have substantial senior aviation sustainment experience across fixed‑wing and rotary‑wing platforms, a proven track record of building and governing mature sustainment programmes, and successfully implemented Lean and other continuous‑improvement initiatives that cut costs, shorten cycle times, and lift quality.
You are adept at influencing senior stakeholders—program directors, suppliers and executives—while owning full budgeting cycles to deliver on forecasts and financial targets.
Putting your people first, you are passionate about developing and retaining high‑performance teams, and have previously steered cross‑regional, matrixed operations.
You balance strategic leadership with a hands-on, outcomes-focused approach, empowering teams to deliver while actively engaging to remove barriers, solve complex challenges and ensure successful delivery of business priorities.
