We are currently seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker Installer to join our growing team in Townsville, North Queensland.

What We’re Looking For
· Qualified Cabinetmaker with proven industry experience (minimum 3 years)
. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Reliable, motivated, and punctual
· White Card (Construction Induction Card)
· Current QLD Driver’s License
· Experience in residential & commercial cabinet making and installations
· Well-presented with strong communication skills
Main Tasks
· Interpret drawings, work orders, specifications, and plans to determine materials, dimensions, assembly and installation requirements.
· Select, prepare, and handle timber, particle board, MDF, laminates, synthetic wood, and other cabinetry materials.
· Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and fit cabinetry and joinery components using hand tools, power tools, and relevant machinery.
· Fit hinges, drawer systems, shelves, handles, catches, and other cabinetry hardware.
· Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with workplace procedures.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure completed work meets project specifications and quality standards.
. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements.
· Perform other duties as directed.
. Construct cabinets, wardrobes, vanities, storage units, and other joinery products in accordance with design specifications.
. Assemble cabinetry using pre-cut panels and components, ensuring accuracy and quality workmanship.
. Build ladder kick frames and supporting structures for cabinetry installations.
. Operate panel saws and edging equipment to cut, customise, and finish cabinetry materials.
. Load, secure, and prepare completed cabinetry for transport and delivery.
. Remove existing cabinetry and fittings where required in preparation for new installations.
. Install and secure cabinetry, wardrobes, vanities, benchtops, shelving, and associated joinery products onsite.
. Level, scribe, and fit ladder kick frames and cabinetry components to achieve accurate installations.
. Install finished end panels, benchtops, splashbacks, trims, architraves, skirting boards, and related fittings where required.
. Apply sealants and silicone finishes and adjust doors, drawers, and hardware to ensure proper alignment and operation.
. Liaise with clients, supervisors, and other trades to coordinate installation activities.
