Mechanical Fitter Technician – Dandenong$55–$60 per Hour | 3-Month Trial | Permanent Opportunity
As One Labour is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter Technician to join one of our valued clients based in Dandenong.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a well-established company. The successful candidate will commence on a 3-month casual trial through As One Labour at $55–$60 per hour (depending on experience), with the opportunity to transition to a full-time position at $49.00 per hour following a successful probation period.
About the Role
- Mechanical fitting, assembly and installation of industrial equipment
- Maintenance and repair of pumps, pipework, valves and associated machinery
- Fault finding and preventative maintenance
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working within a safety-focused manufacturing environment
- Monday to Friday with overtime available

About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or Fitter & Turner
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or manufacturing
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
