Role Overview
Registered Nurses will deliver and oversee community-based clinical care to participants and clients in their homes.
This includes both:
- Direct clinical care; and
- Clinical oversight, delegation, and supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers
The role supports individuals with a range of needs, including disability, chronic health conditions, and post-acute care requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, person-centred clinical care in the home and community
- Conduct clinical assessments and contribute to care planning
- Administer and monitor medications in line with scope of practice
- Provide wound care, chronic disease management, and post-acute care
- Support participants to achieve NDIS goals where applicable
- Provide clinical delegation and supervision to ENs and support staff
- Maintain accurate, contemporaneous, and audit-ready documentation
- Identify, escalate, and manage clinical risks and incidents
- Work collaboratively with families, support coordinators, GPs, and allied health
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Minimum 2–3 years post-registration experience
- Demonstrated clinical competence in:
- Medication management
- Wound care
- Clinical assessments
- Understanding of delegation, supervision, and scope of practice
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Current:
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
- Right to work in Australia
Desirable Experience
- Community nursing or home-based care
- Experience supporting NDIS participants
- Experience with DVA clients or aged care
- Exposure to high-intensity or complex care (e.g. PEG, tracheostomy, ventilator support)
- Understanding of behaviour support environments

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
