What you'll be doing
The Drug and Alcohol Team Leader is to ensure consistent high level care that is innovative and evidence based for clients that have drug and/or alcohol issues. The Team Leader provides clinical leadership and support, demonstrating knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the issues that affect individuals with drug and/or alcohol issues.The Team Leader also has a clinical responsibility to provide direct frontline services to drug and alcohol patients who experience a range of drug and alcohol issues and associated comorbidities.
In addition, the position will provide comprehensive assessment and holistic support throughout a patient’s episode of care. The Clinical Psychologist is a specialised role requiring a high level of skill and expertise in youth drug and alcohol, and psychosocial complexity.
