Sydney Metropolitan International College (SMIC) is looking for a ICT Cusomer Support Officer who is ready to take up the challenge and work in a friendly environment to fulfil the core duties listed below. Core Duties:
- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to staff and students, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain ICT equipment, including desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the continuous operation of IT infrastructure, identifying and resolving faults in a timely manner.
- Administer and support learning management systems (Moodle) and student management systems (RTO Manager), including user access, system updates, and troubleshooting.
- Assist users with Microsoft Office applications, email systems (Outlook), and cloud-based platforms, ensuring effective utilisation of ICT resources.
- Maintain accurate records of support requests, system issues, and resolutions using internal tracking systems.
- Perform routine system checks, updates, and maintenance to ensure data integrity, system security, and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with external IT vendors and service providers for escalation of technical issues and system upgrades.
- Support the implementation of new ICT solutions, including system upgrades, integrations, and digital tools used within the organisation.
- Provide guidance and basic training to staff and students on the use of ICT systems and online learning platforms.
