Comfort Home Care is seeking a caring, reliable and hardworking Support Worker to provide domestic assistance to a client in Mount Victoria, NSW.

About the Role
The position primarily involves domestic assistance and helping the client maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment.
Your responsibilities may include:
- General household cleaning
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping
- Dusting and cleaning surfaces
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms
- Laundry, folding and ironing
- Changing bed linen
- Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen areas
- General household organisation and tidying
- Meal preparation and basic food assistance where required
- Grocery shopping or other household errands where required
- Providing friendly companionship and social interaction
- Supporting the client's independence and wellbeing
- Maintaining client privacy, dignity and confidentiality
- Reporting any concerns regarding the client's wellbeing to Comfort Home Care

Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in domestic assistance, cleaning, aged care, disability support or community services is preferred
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, where applicable
- Working With Children Check, where required
- Current Australian driver's licence, if transport is required
- Reliable and appropriately insured vehicle, if required for the role
- Valid Australian working rights
- Ability to provide required identification and compliance documents during onboarding
Desirable
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Community Services
- Previous experience working with older people
- Experience providing domestic assistance in clients' homes
- Experience with meal preparation
- Experience supporting clients with community access
