As our Graduate Finance Analyst, you'll work alongside the commercial team and senior finance professionals to understand the financial performance of the Civil Consumables business and help drive successful commercial outcomes.

This graduate opportunity is based in Altona, VIC.
Assist in preparing monthly project and business performance reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning across projects and business units.
Assist in preparing variance analysis and reporting for key cost centres, helping stakeholders understand performance and drivers of results.
Assist with preparing and maintaining commercial management reports using Excel and Power Query.
Support the analysis of pricing, margins and product performance to identify trends and opportunities.
Assist in reviewing freight costs and recoveries to help identify potential improvements.
Help develop financial models and reporting tools to support business performance analysis.
Assist with a variety of commercial projects, including pricing analysis, cost reviews and process improvement initiatives
Work closely with finance and operational teams to develop your commercial and analytical skills.
A recent or upcoming completion of a bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
A proactive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in developing a career in finance.
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships across the business units.
Familiar with Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is advantageous but not essential.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
