About Palm Grove Preschool Palm Grove Preschool is a beloved community-run, stand-alone preschool nestled in Kilsyth in Melbourne's outer east. Managed by a volunteer Committee of Management, we offer sessional four-year-old (15 hours) and three-year-old (10 hours) programs, delivered through innovative, play-based learning in our beautiful naturalistic outdoor space. **The Opportunity** We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Certificate III or Diploma qualified co-educators to join our casual relief pool with ad hoc shifts as required. Relief shifts are offered across both our three and four-year-old programs as required, supporting our dedicated teaching team in delivering high-quality, play-based education. The pay rate will be between \$36.90-\$41.55 depending on level and rate **Key Responsibilities** * Support the program teacher in delivering engaging, child-centred learning experiences * Interact with and observe children to gain insights into their interests, skills and development * Attend to the physical, social and emotional needs of children throughout the session * Assist with preparation, pack-down and maintenance of safe and inviting play spaces * Record observations of children as directed by the teacher * Uphold Palm Grove's child safe culture and comply with all relevant policies and procedures **About You** * Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential) * Current Working with Children Check (essential) * Experience working with children aged 3–5 years * Strong communication skills and a warm, professional approach * Ability to step confidently into an established team environment * Genuine passion for early childhood education and ongoing professional development
