EXPERIENCED SOLAR ROOFER / INSTALLER WANTED
Genesis Electrical & Solar Solutions is looking for an experienced Solar Roofer / Installer to join our growing team.
We’re looking for someone who already knows their way around residential solar installations and can confidently work as part of a fast-paced installation crew.
THE ROLE
This position will initially be offered on a casual basis, with full-time work available after a successful probation period for the right person.
Your day-to-day work will primarily involve:
- Installing solar panels and mounting systems Measuring, setting out and installing rail Working across a variety of roof types Running and securing DC cabling/conduit where required Assisting with battery installations and general installation work Working alongside electricians to complete quality solar & battery installations Maintaining a clean, organised and safe worksite
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We want someone who:
- Has previous solar roofing/installation experience Is confident working at heights and on residential roofs Takes pride in producing neat, high-quality work Understands the importance of correct panel layout, rail installation and cable management Is reliable, punctual and turns up ready to work Works well within a team Has a strong attitude towards safety Can work efficiently without sacrificing quality Has a current Australian driver’s licence White Card required Working at Heights training preferred
Experience with solar battery installations is highly regarded but not essential.
