Teach on your terms
Love being in the classroom but want more control over your week? You're in the right place.
BridgePoint Education Group connects great teachers with great schools across Melbourne's south-east and Gippsland. You choose the days, and the settings that suit you we'll take care of the rest.
Whether you're after flexibility, fresh variety, a way back into teaching, or a foot in the door at your ideal school, we'll help you make it happen.
About BridgePoint
We're a Victorian CRT agency built by educators, for educators.
We know what a good relief day feels like and what makes the difference between one that flies and one that drags. So we brief you properly, match you thoughtfully, and pick up the phone when you call.
No call centres. No guesswork. Just a team who knows your name and what you're good at.
The role
As a BridgePoint CRT, you'll step into primary and secondary classrooms across our partner schools.
Every day is a bit different new faces, new subjects, new staffrooms. If you like variety and think fast on your feet, you'll love it.
Why teachers love working with us
- You're in charge of your calendar — Accept the days that work for you, decline the ones that don't. Simple.
- Book ahead if you like certainty — Prefer a set weekly pattern or a booked-out term? We'll line it up.
- Schools we actually know — You'll get a proper brief on the school before you arrive, so you walk in ready.
- Real professional growth — Access practical professional learning, including Bridgepoint Trauma Informed learning platform, which include aligned strategies you can use in any classroom.
- A genuine pathway — Plenty of our CRTs find their long-term school through us. We're happy to help that happen.
- Free to join — No joining fees, no lock-in contracts, no catch.
- Paid on time, every time
What you'll do
- Deliver the lessons left by the classroom teacher and keep learning on track
- Create a positive, calm and welcoming classroom from the first bell
- Adapt confidently across different year levels, subjects and school settings
- Supervise students during yard duty, transitions and other school activities
- Leave clear handover notes for the returning teacher
What you'll bring
- A recognised teaching qualification and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
- Two professional referees from the past five years (mentor teachers welcome)
- A flexible, friendly and proactive approach to new environments
- Reliable transport

All successful applicants must hold or obtain a valid Working with Children Check (Employee) and complete reference and background checks.
We welcome applications from teachers of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
