THE GARAGE MIAMI is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Tyre Technician/Wheel Alignment Technician to join our team.
We are a busy automotive workshop based in Miami on the Gold Coast, specialising in tyres, wheels, mechanical servicing, 4x4 upgrades and accessories. We work on a wide range of vehicles, from everyday family cars and SUVs through to 4WDs, performance vehicles and customer builds.
This role is suited to someone who takes pride in doing the job properly, works well with others, and wants to be part of a workshop with high standards, modern equipment and strong long term opportunity.
As a Tyre Technician, you will be responsible for fitting, balancing, rotating and repairing tyres across passenger, SUV, 4x4 and light commercial vehicles.
As a Wheel Alignment Technician, you will carry out accurate wheel alignments, diagnose alignment related issues and help ensure vehicles leave driving properly.
Key responsibilities include:
Fit, balance, rotate and repair tyres to a high standard
Carry out accurate wheel alignments using modern equipment
Inspect tyres and identify wear, damage and safety concerns
Diagnose tyre wear, steering pull, vibration and handling issues
Identify basic suspension or steering concerns where relevant
Keep your bay, tools and equipment clean and organised
Work safely and efficiently in a busy workshop environment
Support the wider workshop team when required
Deliver quality workmanship customers can rely on
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 2 years experience in tyre fitting, wheel alignments or both
Strong mechanical understanding and attention to detail
Confidence using tyre fitting, balancing and alignment equipment
Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast moving workshop
Good attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Good communication skills
Current manual driver’s licence
Full working rights in Australia
