Eccolab (trading as Eclipse Organics) is an award-winning certified organic food manufacturer based in Richmond NSW. We make muesli, protein bars, snack bars, breakfast bars and protein shakes. We've been recognised as Australian Organic Business of the Year and we're in a strong growth phase, new production equipment coming online and a focus on building a professional, high-quality operation.
About this role
We're building our production team and we need a genuine Production Lead to anchor it.
Not a packing hand with a fancy title. We need someone who can come in, own the muesli-making process, keep production running to a high standard, and become the person who trains and leads the team that builds behind them.
Muesli is our core product and our biggest volume. If you know how to make it, dry blending, coating, batch ratios, consistency, you're already ahead. If you haven't made muesli specifically but you've run production in a food manufacturing or bakery environment, we want to hear from you too.
What you'll be doing
- Making muesli, snack bars, protein bars and other organic food products
- Weighing ingredients and running batches accurately to recipe
- Operating and caring for food production equipment
- Owning the production floor, cleanliness, organisation, flow and discipline
- Maintaining food safety, HACCP, allergen controls and traceability records
- Helping coordinate daily production planning and priorities
- Training and leading production support staff as the team grows
- Flagging problems early and helping build better systems
What we're looking for
The non-negotiables:
- Genuine food production experience — commercial bakery, food manufacturing, kitchen production or similar
- Someone who takes quality and consistency seriously
- Physically capable, lifting 20–25kg bags of ingredients is part of daily life here
- Reliable and long-term focused, we're not interested in short-term or casual
What will make you stand out:
- Muesli, granola, dry blending or cereal manufacturing experience
- HACCP knowledge and food safety certification
- Experience leading or supervising a production team
- Batch record keeping and production documentation
- Organic or health-food manufacturing background
This role suits someone who has worked as a baker, production lead, food manufacturing operator, kitchen supervisor, factory team leader or senior production hand, and is looking for a role where their experience actually counts for something.
What we offer
- $35–$45+ per hour depending on experience and capability
- Full-time hours (38 hrs/week), Monday to Friday
- Clear pathway to a senior production role and salary of $75,000–$85,000+ as the business grows
