About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join our City Infrastructure team as a Team Member Civil & Response. This hands-on role contributes to the maintenance and improvement of Council assets across the City of Unley, helping to ensure our roads, footpaths, drainage systems, buildings, signage and public spaces remain safe, functional and well-presented.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you will undertake a variety of civil maintenance and response activities while delivering high-quality customer service and supporting emergency response requirements when required. No two days are the same, providing an interesting and rewarding opportunity to make a visible difference within the community.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Experience in civil maintenance, construction, street cleansing, building maintenance or a related field.
- Experience operating plant and equipment, including hand and power tools, with a strong commitment to safety and quality outcomes.
- A current MR Class Driver's Licence and Work Zone Traffic Management (WZTM) Accreditation.
- Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to customer requests and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
