Remuneration: $85,000 Base + Super + Vehicle Allowance + Uncapped Commission ($142k+ OTE)

The Opportunity: The Ultimate “Hunter & Nurturer” Hybrid
We are looking for a true sales gun who possesses a rare combination of traits: the grit and hunger to chase new Commercial & Industrial (C&I) business, paired with the relationship skills to nurture long-term accounts.
In this role, you will be a hunter who loves the thrill of the chase, but you won’t just “close and forget.” You will implement proactive account management to build deep, lasting partnerships with key accounts, Strata Managers, and corporate clients, maximising customer retention and identifying ongoing cross-sell opportunities.
To keep you doing what you do best, you will be backed by a high-performing analyst and administrative team that handles tenders, standard proposals, and contract admin, keeping you out from behind a desk and in front of clients.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Cold Outreach: Consistently drive phone outreach, cold call, walk industrial areas, and identify new C&I businesses across manufacturing, retail, hospitality, strata, agriculture, and education.
- Network Prospecting: Leverage your existing network, build referral partner relationships (programs and contracts are already in place), and attend industry networking events.
- Face-to-Face Consultations: Conduct in-person client meetings, walk-throughs, and present tailored commercial energy proposals across the Gold Coast and Brisbane.
- Relationship & Account Management: Serve as the primary contact point for key accounts, implementing proactive management strategies to ensure the highest possible client retention.
- Internal Collaboration: Act as an approachable team player, collaborating with our Energy Analysts and delegating administrative tasks politely and professionally.
- Pipeline Accuracy: Manage a fast-moving sales pipeline efficiently within our Attio CRM.
What We Are Looking For
Energy industry experience is highly advantageous, but what matters most is your vibrant, proactive, team focused personality, proven track record of winning new B2B business and the personal discipline to drive high activity volumes.
- Experience: 2+ years in a B2B Business Development / Account Management role with demonstrated new business results.
- Network: An existing network of business contacts you can actively leverage from day one.
- Sales DNA: Highly self-motivated, comfortable making cold calls, and entirely confident presenting to clients face-to-face.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with numbers, identifying energy market cost savings, and navigating intermediate CRM/MS Excel data.
- Values-Driven: Humble, collaborative, organised, and capable of bringing positive energy to the team environment.
