We’re seeking a compassionate female Support Worker to join our team.
At the moment, we are looking to cover a few shifts, however this will increase significantly if you're keen and happy to work.
About the Role
You’ll work alongside participants to:
Provide hands on support within their homes and in the community.
Create safe, comfortable, and functional living spaces.
Encourage participants with empathy and patience, respecting their pace and choices.
Collaborate with our team to ensure participant wellbeing and dignity remain at the centre of all support.
What We’re Looking For
Experience or interest in supporting people mental health disabilities.
Strong communication skills and a non-judgmental approach.
Reliability and accountability. Showing up matters to our participants.
Ability to work independently while following clear processes.
A values-driven mindset: respect, empowerment, and care.
Requirements
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Police Check and WWCC
First Aid and CPR
Completed Cert 3 in Disability or Mental Health (Or completing)
Flexibility to work across Newcastle, Lake Mac and Lower Hunter
