Vitex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a highly motivated and creative Product Development Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in the development of new pharmaceutical products from concept to commercialisation. If you have a passion for innovation, a strong scientific background, and a desire to contribute to the advancement of Pharmaceuticals products, we want to hear from you!
Your Responsibilities will include:

Support New Product Development (NPD) activities, including formulation development, product trials, testing and technical documentation within a pharmaceutical/nutraceutical manufacturing environment.

Review ingredient functionality, raw material suitability and supplier information to support product innovation and improvement.

Liaise with suppliers and Procurement teams regarding raw materials, samples, documentation and new product opportunities.

Monitor industry trends, ingredient innovations and market developments to identify opportunities for new products and process improvements.

Collaborate with R&D, Production, QA, QC, Sales and other stakeholders to ensure products meet quality, GMP and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, or related field

Previous experience in pharmaceutical product development or a related field is preferred

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
