This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help the Townsville Hospital and Health Service identify potentially suitable applicants for future Nursing employment opportunities. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the Clinical Talent Pool for a period of 12 months and you will be contacted further by the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Services Team at the time an opportunity arises. Further participation in other recruitment selection processes (for example written application and/or interview) to further assess suitability for appointment to a specific position may be required. Specialty skills will be assessed to determine eligibility for available positions.

Salary range: $37.92 to $39.03 p.h - Temporary Part-time and $47.41 to $48.79 p.h (Casual) (Nurse Grade 2)
4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
Qualification: Student in Nursing applicants will be undertaking or have completed, on a full-time basis, the second semester of the second year of a pre-registration university program or is undertaking the fourth semester of a second year post graduate pre-registration university program in a nursing qualification approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
