Available Full-Time Positions
We are excited to build the founding team for our brand-new Mount Pritchard Montessori Academy and are currently recruiting for the following full-time positions:
- Room Assistants
- Room Leaders
- Kitchen Hand
Successful applicants will be matched to the most suitable role based on their qualifications, experience, and leadership capabilities.
All positions are permanent full-time (38 hours per week) and rostered between the centre's operating hours, Monday to Friday.
About the Role
These positions are ideal for dedicated early childhood professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality education and care.
As a valued member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential. Working alongside experienced educators and leaders, you will help deliver educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Montessori philosophy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building warm, positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Planning and implementing engaging learning experiences in line with the EYLF.
- Creating safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
- Upholding Montessori Academy's philosophy, values and policies.
- Communicating effectively with families regarding children's learning and wellbeing.
- Observing, documenting and monitoring children's learning and development.
- Working collaboratively within a professional and supportive team.
- Maintaining compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and relevant legislation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification). (Not required for Kitchen Hand applicants.)
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications, or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
- Sound knowledge of the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) (for educator roles).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A positive, reliable and professional attitude.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A commitment to a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week).
Previous Montessori experience is welcomed but not essential, as comprehensive Montessori training will be provided.
