We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys leading work fronts, coordinating trades, and driving safe and efficient project delivery.
About the Role
Reporting to the Site Manager / Project Manager, the Site Supervisor is responsible for managing designated work fronts on site, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme and quality requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining productivity on site, managing subcontractor performance, supporting programme outcomes, and contributing to a positive and collaborative project environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across assigned work fronts
- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Drive compliance with HSE requirements, SWMS, toolbox talks, and site procedures
- Monitor subcontractor productivity and escalate programme or quality concerns where required
- Assist in maintaining short-term construction programmes aligned with the master programme
- Coordinate plant, materials, and trade sequencing to minimise delays and disruption
- Support quality inspections, defect management, and non-conformance rectification
- Manage day-to-day site stakeholder interactions including subcontractors, consultants, and the public
- Assist with site administration including meeting minutes, HSE records, and QA documentation
Skills & Experience
- 4-8 years' experience in commercial construction
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, trade qualification, or strong industry experience
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination
- Ability to manage multiple work fronts and maintain programme productivity
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Ability to identify and escalate construction, design, or safety risks proactively
- Strong leadership and team collaboration capability
- Strong computer literacy and ability to use a variety of software
