We're looking for a capable, self-directed person to help with business development and outreach on a part-time, ongoing basis.
Polar Media is a Perth-based video production and animation studio working with clients across the mining, resources, engineering and construction sectors. We're looking to grow, and we want the right person to help us reach new clients and turn interest into work.
The role is fairly open by design. At its core it's about finding and reaching the right people at companies in our sectors and helping move those conversations forward. Beyond that, we're genuinely interested in what you'd bring to it, so if you've got your own ideas about how to do outreach well, we'd like to hear them.
What we're after
- Experience in outreach, business development, sales
- Excellent written English with a natural, professional tone
- Self-directed and organised, able to own a weekly rhythm without being chased
- Good judgement about which opportunities are worth pursuing
- Bonus: familiarity with the resources, engineering or construction sectors
This is part-time, roughly one to two days a week, with flexibility on how the hours fall. It can be remote, so you could be anywhere in Australia, though Perth candidates are welcome to use the office. We can't take on international applicants.
