Ramsay Health Care is seeking an experienced and highly organised Administration Officer to join team on a either a permanent full-time or part-time basis. This role will involve working at Ramsay Surgical Centre Miranda and Kareena Private Hospital. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering excellent administrative and patient support services.
About the Role
You will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of patient services and front-of-house administration.
Key Responsibilities

Managing patient admissions, bookings, and appointment scheduling

Providing professional front desk and reception support

Handling incoming phone calls and patient enquiries

Maintaining accurate patient records and data entry

Liaising with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals

Processing medical documentation

Assisting with payments, filing, and general administrative duties

Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with hospital procedures and privacy requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous administration or reception experience (hospital or medical experience highly regarded)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work effectively in a busy and fast-paced environment

High level of professionalism and empathy when dealing with patients

Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office and patient management systems
