We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on major long-term demolition projects on the East Coast of Australia. This is a FIFO 2/1 site-based role offering the opportunity to lead the successful delivery of a high-profile industrial projects while working alongside experienced and collaborative teams.

About the Role
As Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships and ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget and to Liberty Industrial's high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of project delivery, ensuring safety, quality, programme and commercial objectives are achieved.
- Plan, coordinate and manage project activities to deliver successful outcomes.
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams across both white and blue-collar workforces.
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, cost control and contractual obligations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with all HSEQ requirements.
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks while maintaining project risk registers.
- Coordinate procurement, subcontractor management and resource planning.
- Monitor project performance and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
- Foster continuous improvement across project delivery and team performance.
About You
You are an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering complex industrial or heavy construction projects. You are commercially astute, highly organised and capable of leading large multidisciplinary teams while maintaining strong client relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience managing complex industrial projects such as demolition, mining, oil & gas, power generation, heavy construction or major infrastructure projects.
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or another relevant discipline.
- Strong commercial and contractual management capability.
- Demonstrated experience leading large multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality and environmental management systems.
- Experience working on brownfield sites, shutdowns or industrial demolition projects will be highly regarded.
- Experience working within environmentally sensitive or live operating environments is advantageous.
- Primavera P6 experience is desirable but not essential.
