ABOUT THE POSITION

TLEA is welcoming applications for full time experienced Human Resources Manager – Operations to join our team working a family friendly Monday to Friday roster at our Kwinana plant.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, you will lead the site-based operational HR team and play a key role in shaping how HR supports the business. Overseeing six direct reports (2 x HR Business Partners, 1 x Senior Recruitment Advisor, 1 x Systems Specialist and 2 x Payroll Specialists) and 2 indirect reports (2 x HR Officers), this role is focused on coaching, guiding and enabling the team to provide practical, consistent and trusted HR support across site. You will act as an escalation point for complex operational matters, partner closely with senior and operational leaders, and drive change through the team by building capability, alignment and accountability.

You will play a key role in leading the operational HR function, ensuring the team delivers responsive and practical HR support while also progressing strategic people initiatives including workforce planning, talent management and succession planning. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, coach and support the operational HR team to deliver consistent, practical and high-quality HR support across site.
Set team priorities, provide direction and act as an escalation point for complex ER/IR, performance, conduct and case management matters.
Partner with operational and senior leaders to influence people strategy, culture and workforce outcomes.
Drive change through the HR team by building capability, alignment and accountability.
Guide the delivery of workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, recruitment and onboarding strategies.
Coach leaders and support the HR team to lift leadership capability, resolve conflict and build stronger teams.
Champion an inclusive, respectful and engaged workplace through visible leadership and practical initiatives.
Lead performance, development and succession planning for your direct team.
Oversee headcount planning, HR budgeting and continuous improvement priorities to enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness.
WHAT YOU CAN BRING
A commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of you and your team.
Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline.
A track record of high performance in human resources leadership roles managing a fast-paced, operational or industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting Enterprise Agreement-covered workforces, with a strong understanding of EA provisions and compliance requirements.
Highly skilled influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution experience fostering teamwork and operational excellence.
Knowledge of workforce planning, talent development, and succession management.
Solid understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practice.
Experience with SAP SuccessFactors (desirable).

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.
Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
