Position Overview
Enhanced Physio is seeking a qualified and experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team in Southport, QLD. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services to a diverse patient cohort, including musculoskeletal, vestibular, TMJ, and women’s and men’s health conditions.
The position requires independent clinical decision-making, case management of complex conditions, and contribution to the clinic’s patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and service growth.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conduct comprehensive subjective and objective assessments of patients presenting with acute, chronic, and complex musculoskeletal and related conditions
- Formulate clinical diagnoses using advanced clinical reasoning and evidence-based frameworks
- Identify contraindications, risk factors, and red flags requiring referral to other healthcare professionals
Treatment Planning and Delivery
- Develop and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment plans aligned with best practice and patient goals
- Deliver a range of therapeutic interventions, including:
- Manual therapy techniques (joint mobilisation, soft tissue therapy)
- Exercise prescription and rehabilitation programs
- Functional movement retraining and injury prevention strategies
- Pain management and education
- Utilise modern rehabilitation technologies and structured clinical systems adopted by the clinic
Case Management
- Independently manage a varied caseload across acute, chronic, and complex presentations
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Ensure continuity of care and optimal long-term patient outcomes
Patient Education and Communication
- Provide clear education to patients regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and self-management strategies
- Promote long-term health outcomes rather than short-term symptom relief
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and stakeholders
Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with other physiotherapists and allied health professionals within the clinic
- Liaise with external stakeholders including GPs, specialists, insurers, and other healthcare providers
- Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings
Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records in accordance with AHPRA and clinic standards
- Prepare reports, referral letters, and treatment summaries as required
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and clinic policies
Professional Development and Clinical Governance
- Participate in structured mentorship, clinical training, and ongoing professional development programs
- Contribute to continuous improvement of clinical protocols and service delivery
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiotherapy practices and evidence-based treatment methods
Operational and Business Support
- Contribute to clinic efficiency, patient retention, and service quality outcomes
- Assist in developing new service areas or programs where applicable
- Support administrative processes including appointment management and patient follow-ups
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor or higher degree in Physiotherapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy (preferred)
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Multilingual skills (Mandarin, Cantonese, or Korean) are highly regarded

Remuneration
- Competitive salary package consistent with market rates (approx. $75,000 – $95,000 per annum based on experience)
