The Opportunity
We are looking for a passionate, reliable, and caring Cert III or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our Hornsby team.
The position can be offered as either a full-time or part-time role, with the option of working 3 or 4 long days per week, depending on the applicant’s availability and the needs of the service.
You will be supported by an experienced leadership team and work alongside educators who are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging educational programs aligned with the EYLF
- Build warm, respectful, and professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive team
- Contribute to the service’s compliance with the National Quality Framework, regulations, and centre policies
- Support our child-safe culture by following supervision, child protection, reporting, and code of conduct requirements
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- A current NSW Working With Children Check
- Sound knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and care
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
- A positive, reliable, and professional approach
- A commitment to child safety, respectful interactions, and professional boundaries
