About the Role…
Are you a highly organised administration professional who enjoys supporting programs, projects and events that make a meaningful impact?
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) is seeking an Administration Assistant to join the RAS Foundation team. This role provides administrative and coordination support to the Foundation Manager and Programs & Grants Manager across a broad range of Foundation activities, including scholarship programs, community grants, donor engagement initiatives, board meetings and fundraising activities.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will assist with database and CRM management, event coordination, board administration, donor communications and general office support. The role also plays an important part in supporting Foundation fundraising activities during the Sydney Royal Easter Show and other key events throughout the year.
This is a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail and is passionate about supporting initiatives that benefit rural and regional communities.
About you…
You are a proactive and organised administrator with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. You enjoy building relationships, managing competing priorities and ensuring things run smoothly behind the scenes.
To be successful, you will demonstrate:

Previous experience in an administration, coordination or support role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines

Confidence working with databases and maintaining accurate records

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

A positive, flexible and proactive approach to work
Desirable:
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Administration, Events or a related discipline
Experience in event coordination or project support
Experience within a not-for-profit, charitable or grant-giving organisation
Experience using CRM or donor management systems
An understanding of, or strong interest in, rural and regional Australia
